Cooperstown or Bust - A Sandlot Tradition
Why Are We Raising Money
The costs for parents/guardians to send their sons to the Cooperstown Tournament are 4 times what a normal season cost might be for participation on a community travel team. The tournament fees exclude all costs of travel for the player to and from the tournament location. In addition to the Cooperstown Tournament Fees for their player, parents and families who will also want to make the trip to witness their sons having this wonderful Cooperstown Experience will have a week's worth of their own travel, lodging, and meal costs to cover.
Our goal as a team and as an extended baseball family is to raise the money required to cover the Cooperstown Tournament fees. We believe this is a worthwhile endeavor as all of the boys on the team have over the years developed a sincere love of the game of baseball, have put in countless hours of practice and training time to maximize their development, and are growing into fine young adults partially as a result of the life lessons and values they've learned from the game.
We are proud of our players and our families and we are certain that their extended families and their community are proud of them as well. We are asking for your support in recognizing these young athletes, their accomplishments, and their growth by supporting our team's Cooperstown Trip fund raising efforts as much as you are able. Our hope is that with the help of our extended families, friends and our community we will be able to cover a large portion of the team's Tournament fees. In doing so we also hope that all of the parents of our players will be able to make the trip to Cooperstown in June 2017, to share in a truly remarkable and memorable experience for their sons.
